Paradigm shift. The new science breakthrough.

There is a paradigm shift happening in science. It started with a shaking of the foundation of the standard model and is growing as people consider the ramifications. There is a fundamental problem with our current understanding of our world. Our current knowledge of the universe is being tested and there are some questions that scientists would like to have answered. Before we can truly understand our universe and grow our humanity from this paradigm shift into something useful and productive, there are two fundamental questions we need to answer.

1. What is time?

2. What is gravity?

Amazingly, we don't have an answer to these seemingly simple scientific questions. We know what time does, and we know what gravity does, but we don't know what they are.

Now the scientific community is reeling over surprising data that shows the coveted rules of the special theory of relativity are possibly wrong. How can we possibly believe what we have learned when the fundamentals of the standard model of physics are possibly incorrect. There will be a frenzy of tests to prove the findings wrong - but if they aren't wrong, if the data are correct and the concurrent tests prove the results to be true, the scientific community will have to run back to the drawing boards.

Something so simple, yet so profound can have such a major effect on the scientific community. sometimes it is the simplest things that catch us off guard.

Where do we go from here? There are still two questions we need to answer. What is time and what is gravity. Anyone that can answer these two questions will be the next biggest thing, and take their place beside the greatest mind of the 20th century. Albert Einstein. He couldn't answer these questions, but perhaps the next scientist can. Are you that scientist?

Link of the day is Steven Hawking VS Albert Einstein!!
